Middle Walk 7.6 miles
From Threlkeld, NY325256, NE on road, then track, to cross A66 at 333263. SE on minor road, passing Low Hollows, to just before Guardhouse Bridge, where turn S/SW to walk closely along northern side of river, to cross Mill Bridge at 326251. Briefly SE to join disused rail track at 328249. SW/NW on rail track to briefly leave track at 315248 to cross A66; then rejoin rail track W/SW, passing High Cat Crag, Low Cat Crag, Briery and Brigham, to just before final bridge at 274237. Leave rail track, descending ramp S to School at Low Brigham. Briefly SW/SE to minor road at 274235. Briefly SW/NW to A5271. SW on A5271 to 4-way cross roads at 268235. Briefly SW to 267234, then NW to 264236. Bend SW/NW/N passing church on left to locate coach CP at 263236.
